The whole building’s form and function, had been strictly defined by the investor. An important issue of the project was its outer skin. It was supposed to have informational function and bring in mind an immediate connotation with its function. The object functions as a huge garage, with driveways on both sides and cars going through it.

We have wrapped the bulding in letterings, treating it like a product which is being packed up. We don’t generally like this motif in architecture, cause it seems too trendy and too close to a regular ornament so we tried to avoid letters glued to walls or to glass. The letters were used as material, that builds up walls, wrapping the building up very tightly.

In order to create driveways and entrances, we have raised the “wrapping” on the corners of the building, prompting deformation of letters in these areas.

As a result we have gained transformation of a cube – an eye-catching form resulting from pragmatic action.
